About Us
Welcome to Ashirvad Revival Centre located near the banks of Cauvery in historic Srirangapatna, a town in Mandya district of Karnataka situated a mere 15 km from Mysore city. Our retreat centre is easily accessible by train from Bangalore and Mysore and is also well-connected by road, lying as it does just off the Bangalore-Mysore highway.
Established in a peaceful farm setting, our retreat centre is an ideal place to get away from the busyness of life to spend time in the presence of the Lord.
The centre is open all year round and is an ideal place to host your own day, weekend, or week-long group retreat in our worship hall with capacity for 100 guests or in any of the meeting spaces or quiet corners lying
in its surroundings, Our facilities include accommodation for up to 100 guests along with home cooked food and wifi.
After a day of reflection and learning at the retreat centre, several fun activities can also be organised such as sightseeing in and around historic Srirangapatna and outdoor
activities including games around a campfire..
Ashirvad is dedicated to providing a beautiful place for Christian groups to find space with God. We offer comfortable accommodation, homely food and a welcoming atmosphere to provide a truly inspiring Christian retreat experience.
Located about 3 hours drive from Bangalore and a half hour away from Mysore, the idyllic setting of Ashirvad Revival Centre is ideally situated.
Ashirvad is managed under the Ashirvad Socio Religious Charitable Trust by
Mr. Sundar Malagi (Founder & Manging Trustee) and Mrs Usha Sundar (Secretary).
History
Sundar and Usha Malagi had worked in the secular world after retirement. Having been blessed with good jobs during their careers, which they attributed to the grace of God, they always possessed an inner desire to participate in ministry work. They did this by initially supporting 3-4 village pastors for a few years through different Christian organisations.
In 2005, the Sundar Malagi’s family bought a 2 acre farm at Srirangapatna. Three years later in 2008 they started construction of a small farm house which they planned to use as a holiday home after their retirement. However, one day in 2009, Arpitha, the Malagis’ daughter, who was only 12 years old, had the divine experience of seeing 3 angels at the farmhouse. It was this incident that gave Sundar and Usha Malagi the realisation of their calling – to utilise their farm property for ministry activity. Over the next few years, the Sundar Malagi’s family added more facilities at the farm in a phased manner as the Lord provided and the Ashirvad Revival Centre was established. By God’s grace, the centre now has a prayer and worship hall that can accommodate more than hundred guests with overnight accommodation also for a hundred.’

Sundar and Usha Malagi are confident that by the leading of the Lord they will be able to make further improvements at the Ashirvad so that it transforms into an ideal Christian retreat and conference centre in the not too distant future.Today, the Sundar Malagi’s family glorify God by providing an environment at Ashirvad where individuals, families, organizations and churches may come to hear the Word of God proclaimed through the ministry of anointed speakers and teachers where spiritual needs of the entire body of Christ can be met including adults, teens and children.

Ashirvad strives to be the best possible Christian off-site event hosting facilities around Bangalore and Mysore with truly affordable rates. As is typical of retreat centres, we offer a main indoor activity hall, quiet spaces for group discussions or prayer, overnight accommodation, meals, recreation activities, and chapel space.
Home Cooked Meals
Our team of 10 staff will handle the setup, take down, cooking, and clean up so that you can stay focused on providing life-changing ministry to your attendees.
Main Hall
Our retreat packages include everything your group will need for a successful ministry event. All of these elements are bundled at one price per-person to keep planning and registration simple for event leaders.
Comfortable Lodging
We presently have 10 deluxe rooms which can accommodate up to 4 guests & 3 dormitories that can accommodate 35 guests. Our normal capacity is for 75 guests but this is extendable with additional beds to 100 guests.
